This is how professional trainers feed their dogs:

1.  Feed once per day.
2.   After 1/2 hour, dump any remaining food back into the bag.
3.   1 day per week, do not feed.

We have good results using this feeding program and it is how we feed all our adult dogs here at Gunther White German Shepherds.
